This was our final day in Luang Prabang, and it was another excellent day. One of the best things to do in Luang Prabang is visit Kuang Si Waterfalls, a gorgeous jungle falls that cascades with sparkling turquoise water.
Before went to the waterfalls we first stopped for breakfast to eat Laos sandwiches, called khao gee.
Total price - 55,000 LAK ($6.61)
Kuang Si Waterfall - It’s a must visit when you’re in Luang Prabang, but our plan was to go as early as possible and beat the main crowd. And it worked. We had breakfast and continued on to the falls - it takes about 45 minutes or so to drive there. Kuang Si Waterfalls are absolutely spectacular, but they can get extremely busy in the afternoon.
Price - 20,000 LAK ($2.40) per person
Lunch at Laos goat restaurant - For lunch we wanted to try something a little different, and we asked out driver to take us to a goat restaurant. Goat is typically eaten in the evening in Laos, but this place happened to be open for lunch. We ordered some grilled goat and the highlight for both Joel and I was their goat bile soup - yes it looked and tasted a little like grass, but it was amazing.
Total price - 290,000 LAK ($34.87)
It was another fantastic day in Laos, enjoying the beauty of Luang Prabang.
Thank you for watching!

It's kidney dude,not liver😂
Mark: As always you make great crystal clear videos and the waterfalls looks amazing and the turquoise water for swimming is awesome, something I would like to do. The tripe in one of those dishes you ate, sorry, you don't care for it, The tripe by itself makes a great soup. The Spanish people makes that all the time. Keep up the good work and God bless you and your family too.
My main critique of Mark is he puts so much chili on EVERYTHING it's kind of disingenuous because not many of us are going to do that so its hard to gauge how good things really are. Yeah i know he takes a bite without the chilies but thats somehow not commiting to the dish your are altering its taste greatly by topping it with what every massively spicy condiment is around
kidney in the partially digested grass / stomach acid, and bile soup.
I call MICAH
."MY- NICK-HA". He just sits there and TAKES IT "ALL" IN. ESPECIALLY THE SMELLS.😃
I love seeing MICAH, HE IS A BEAUTIFUL BABY. WITH ALL THAT GOOD FOOD HIS PARENTS EAT…IT AINT NO SURPRISE.
