Social Dining in Denmark with Chef Esben (https://www.instagram.com/roddercph/) - This video includes a huge array of two days of sourcing top quality ingredients, and eating street food in Copenhagen. We visited many local small producers, from farms to cheeses to award winning chocolate. On the day of the social dining event, we visited more grocery stores, and picked our own mushrooms.
Esben and I also decided to eat some Copenhagen street food, including Gasoline Burgers, which are known to be some of the best burgers in Copenhagen, using organic ingredients and served from a gas station. Then we went straight to Kebabistan, one of Copenhagen’s best kebab restaurants.
Finally, for the big meal Danish food social dining event, we went to Vin de Table, and Esben used the ingredients we sourced to cook an amazing home-style Danish meal. The food was delicious and it was a perfect way to wrap up an amazing trip in Denmark!
Here are the main places we visited in this video:
Hårbølle Mejeri - Dairy Farm
Rønnede Inn - Danish Restaurant
Friis-Holm - Award winning chocolate
Købmand - Gourmet grocery
Empirical Spirits - Copenhagen distillery
Gasoline Grill - Fresh organic burgers
ØsterGRO - Rooftop farm
Kebabistan - Shawarma Copenhagen
Vin de Table - Natural wine shop
Thank you again to Visit Copenhagen (https://www.instagram.com/visitcopenhagen/) for supporting my trip, and to Esben (https://www.instagram.com/roddercph/) for taking me around and cooking. It was an amazing trip!

I think the actual food producers and street chefs have got real love and passion that shows in their faces. The chefs I feel are more ego based and about how they are perceived, I think often the street guys actually beat them on flavour.
Mark Wiens – NUMBER ONE GLOBAL FOOD JOURNALIST? Why not
Truly inspiring culture and they come up with amazing food, like the mushroom grower – true genius. Mark Wiens showing why he is ahead of the game as a Food Journalist. If they used some of the Iranian/Lebanese flat breads?????
Great move 💜 and great 👍 Food
ありがとう❤I'm from Japan. I want to go to Denmark someday. Copenhagen is very beautiful city. Gasoline Grill is very good!
I didn’t see a gas station burger.
I can't believe you went there and you tasted a few chocolate pieces and a single flodebolle. They have so many varieties of sweet things.
Face of mark he makes is so fake
If you are ever in Malmö you need to eat at Superfalafel beside the flowing river. I recommend you eat their Kebabplates or Kebab boxes their Falafel is a dream to. 🧆
You should also try to eat at Falafel Baghdad in the suburbs of Rosengård in Malmö. I recommend you eat their Shawarma with Irakian bread. 🍴
Praise cheeses!
Mark, that gas station burger was totally awsome! Made me hungry!
I always hate seeing lambs killed and cooked with their heads split open on your plate. Maybe you’ll learn some compassion that not every animal has to be eaten.
By far one of my favorite videos…thank you!
That is NOT flaeskesteg (pork roast). Not even close. That is some hipster nonsense version of a farm classic. What have they done?
I recognize mark from his trips and other videos. Almost a celebrity
I like Kebabistan 😊👍
