Hey everyone hope you're having an amazing day. It's mark wiens, i'm in los angeles, at lax international airport, and today we are flying on emirates, business class from los angeles to dubai. It's going to be a 15 and a half hour flight, and so today i am going to show you all of the food everything that i eat all of the meals coming up right now in this video, okay, and so again, we are flying today from well Lax los angeles and then we're flying to dubai and then on to bangkok, but we've been in the us for already it's been almost four or five months that we've been in the united states. So it's going to be good to get home and also we'll be spending some time in dubai on this trip as well check in on all the different checks and regulations, everything went smoothly but happy to be here and i'm hungry hey.

How are you man? Thank you. Thank you all right lunch station kind of a mix of both mexican. They had some rolled tacos as well as indian middle eastern. Here's a combination.

I got lamb chop chicken tinga, which is a mexican tomato chicken stew and then vegetable korma. The rice is nice and fluffy that tinga got some vegetables shredded chicken tomato. Oh, that chicken is good, though really nice and tomatoey, and then finally, the lamb chop, oh yeah, the rosemary on there, nice and salty and bite-sized oh yeah. First, lamb chop of the trip delicious.

Then i got a spinach salad, um, there's some nuts there's some beets there's some cheese and what are these? Is it persimmon or is it um, i'm not sure what that tomato? Oh, i thought there was dressing on here. I guess there's no dressing, but anyway, let's taste it first. What is that fruit? Oh you know what okay look. I think it's a yellow beet has the texture and the flavor of a beet, but it's yellow, but it tastes like a beet i'll take it.

Thank you. It's good. Just a little bit could bump up emirates could bump up that that spice level moving back over here to the sofa seating coffee. Also, i picked up a little plate of grapes, cheeses and the fig is what i really wanted yeah.

I love figs. This one is more, not too sweet but still sour and then i'm not totally sure what herb this is. I thought it was rosemary, but no it's not exactly rosemary wow. Oh that's, amazing.

I'm not totally sure what it is it is. It does taste like rosemary, but much stronger. Your mouth just immediately becomes overwhelmed with a floral-ness pepper, some artichoke, some cheese. There we go put this on top of them.

Oh, i loved preserved, peppers, okay and on that bite we have about 50 minutes until we need to head to the gate until we need to start boarding. Oh yeah, yeah, exactly 12 hour difference, los angeles dubai. Let's head to the gate, it looks like a micah. Doesn't it look like a whale hello, hello, good afternoon, spiderman, yes, 11 and 12.

11. hello good afternoon emirates, so i've flown with emirates, at least like maybe a dozen times uh, but this will be my first flight on emirates, business class and again it's such an Honor to be able to have this chance this opportunity, but look at this look at this seat, there's a whole mini bar station, just for your your seat and again this is the a380, the airbus a380, which is a double decker. So we we're on the top level entire bathroom toiletry set, oh even deodorant, oh sure, thank you very much, the wine list and the menu, and so our flight takes off at 3 35 pm here in los angeles. So probably after an oh hello.

Thank you. Thank you very much enjoy it. Oh yeah, that's really good fresh orange juice flight leaves at 3 35 pm in los angeles uh, so we'll probably fly for a couple of hours and then get our first meal literally almost exactly halfway around the world and one flight straight shot 15 and a half Hours will be in dubai. I was wondering the route that we'll be taking if we'll be flying, east or west looks like we will be flying sort of east across the united states but kind of north.

At the same time, northern easterly route up and over and the nuts are served warm and by the way, these headphones are nice comfortable. Welcome we'll be right back. Thank you very much. The appetizer is served.

I got the mezze plate comes with a salad and also a variety of different mize, typical mezza, there's hummus there's the grape leaves there's baba ghanoush one of my favorites, some arabic, bread, oh man, i love how chunky that uh with some peppers in it with the Roasted eggplant with some herbs in there, oh wow, i love papa ganoush. Oh man, the smokey eggplant. It's served cool, it's refreshing! Oh it's wonderful! This is called muhammad, roasted peppers or roasted tomatoes in there. Oh look! How smooth that hummus is? Oh yeah! Oh wow! I mean i just love mitzvah, i've always loved grape vine leaves stuffed grapefruit.

The rice in there is just so perfectly like gooey and saucy cheers. Okay, let's move on to the salad, i'm a big fan of the baba ganoush. That was a delicious appetizer and main course next. Thank you.

This is the main dish, the prawn, much boos, the aroma of those prawns and the pine nuts in there man, you just see how the basmati rice, every individual grain is just coated in spice equally and evenly and perfectly it's so fragrant, it's so aromatic. I hope it's appropriate. I got ta pick that up with my fingers just to show you that scale, the size, oh man and it's curled up right now. Imagine if it was laying flat wow all the tenderness of that prawn.

It just kind of melts in your mouth. It's got that spice light spice blend, you taste a little bit of tomatoeyness the. I love that uh sprinkle of coriander. On top the pine nuts which you can tell are roasted, i can safely say that's the biggest prawn.

I've ever eaten in the sky, whoa, that's not even a one biter, that's a two biter. The flavor of the prawn has just that juice. That broth must be the broth that the rice is cooked in is made from that shrimp, and maybe not just the shrimp. But maybe the shrimp shell, because again like that rice is just a condensed flavor of shrimp and it's it's not heavy on the spices.

You do taste the spices, the turmeric, the cumin, the coriander, the probably a little bit of cardamom but they're, not strong they're, not pungent. It's milder, thank you and then for dessert. There were, i think, three or four different dessert options, uh, but i always get the fruit. Oh man, now that is a sweet strawberry for me fruit.

After a meal, it's the best of all desserts, i might watch a movie, might take a little nap and then definitely when i wake up, we will be heading to the back to the bar to have the next snack, the bar at the back of the plane. Come here, what's your name nice? That was the best thing. Thank you very much. Thank you very much.

Well done. This is the the perfect bedtime cocktail, coffee and a bunch of things and some coffee beans on top, oh yeah. Oh, it's wonderful, espresso comes through. Follow the coffee flavor, it's not it's actually like really refreshing and cool and foamy youtube yup.

I think i've seen you you're from china yeah i live in thailand. I live in thailand. Oh this is really nice. Let's say this is my first time to ever be standing at a cocktail bar on an airplane as well what a spot - and i just ordered a light snack - a bedtime, snack bedtime, drink bedtime.

Snack. Can i eat it right here chicken balti to go here. I got a little box of the chicken balti with rice on the bottom. Oh man.

As soon as he brought over that box, and i opened that lid - you can smell that aroma. It is the perfect bedtime, snack wow, that's wonderful! The basmati rice on the bottom! Curry is oh, it's really good. It has like this kind of heat that builds with them, so i'm gon na say good night and i'll see you for the next meal good morning, it's time for breakfast, okay! Thank you very much coffee again for breakfast, i went with the california omelet, which is stuffed with avocado, oh yeah. When it comes to airplane eggs, that's one of the better airplane eggs.

You'll ever have and you've got the creamy avocado inside with rye or maybe with um some flaxseed in there. Oh yeah, the grapefruit coffee combination, always a great combo, 270 degrees celsius. Thank you very much. Thank you.

Thank you and welcome to dubai. Oh man, it's good to be back here. That was the fastest 15 and a half hour flight. I've ever taken man, it was like eat, eat, sleep, eat, watch a movie, hello, okay, thank you again, really happy to be in dubai and we're gon na be here.

That was an outstanding fight with emirates uh for so many years now. Emirates has been one of the best airlines in the world, but this is my first time to fly on business class and yeah. It was an honor to have this opportunity.
