NOTE: Watch the next Rome video on Sunday at 8 pm Bangkok time (GMT+7).
Courageous Kitchen is a charity in Bangkok where underprivileged kids and young adults are taught valuable lessons about teamwork and leadership through cooking. It’s a project that I enjoy being involved in and a charity that I really believe in.
In this video, I was happy to have the opportunity to have a group of young adults over to our house to cook some Thai food. They had never cooked Thai satay before or som tam (green papaya salad), and so that was fun to learn and cook altogether. The satay was delicious, and the meal with everyone was fantastic.
After cooking Thai food at home, we then traveled over to Sathon (downtown area of Bangkok) and to The House on Sathon, part of W Hotel Bangkok, for a charity event for Courageous Kitchen. There were a number of well known Bangkok chefs and restaurants that took part in the event. The venue itself was beautiful, and the food I tried, especially the oysters and the Roman food were delicious.
Thank you again for watching this special video about Courageous Kitchen in Bangkok!
