00:11 Lunch at home in Bangkok - Before going to meet up with Andrew Zimmern, I had a quick early lunch back at home. My meal included some tom yum pla too (Thai tom yum soup with mackerel) and a quick kai jeow (Thai omelet).
2:06 Meeting up with Andrew Zimmern - We headed to the Dusit Zoo in Bangkok to meet up with Andrew Zimmern, and after the TV film crew arrived, I jumped into a tuk tuk and we picked up Andrew. From there, we drove around in the tuk tuk getting to know each other and started heading to the Soei restaurant area.
3:46 Soei Restaurant (http://www.eatingthaifood.com/2014/08/soei-restaurant-bangkok/) - One of my all time favorite restaurants in Bangkok, and I was extrmeely excited to eat here with Andrew Zimmern. We ordered a few of my favorite dishes including Thai crab curry, and also tom yum pla too, which is the same dish I had eaten for breakfast at home as well. One of the main snacks to order at Soei are the deep fried crispy mackerel heads, and they were, as always, extraordinary - crispy all the way through, lightly salted, and incredibly flavorful. Soei served us yet again another outstanding Thai meal in Bangkok.
9:34 On our way to Ratchawat Market - Along with Soei being one of my favorite restaurants in Bangkok, Ratchawat is one of my favorite markets in Bangkok. We jumped back into the tuk tuk and drove over to Ratchawat Market. Our tuk tuk driver, whose name was P’Weera, took us first to one of his favorite street food stalls in the market, which was hot dogs cooked in wrap around buns. Andrew and I both agreed that they weren’t the best things we tried, but luckily there was a lot more to eat at the market. Our next stop was for some Thai street meat at the corner stall where we sampled northern Thai sausage, and some crispy pork belly.

sometimes being less is best, i enjoyed watching Marks wife for 2-5 seconds being humble in the background in the whole video than i wanted to watch that fat Zimmern acting like he's some kind of bigshot with his camera crew, i mean ok he (Zimmern) is doing it for television but my god he's not a celebrity, i bet Mark Weins gets more views just on you tube.
Zimmern reminds me of that type of person who was born in America and has never been to Italy but has Italian grandparents and therefore thinks he's a food god and part of the Italian mafia -.-
Seemed like they didnt get along
I think that mark is humble and andrew thinks he is god.. fame goes to the head, not the people…

Not an easy episode to watch. Mark is fine by himself, thank you.
Had not seen this episode before. Really enjoyed watching it. I used to watch every episode of bizarre foods back in the day and still follow him on youtube today. And right after his show, mr Bourdain with his show. He was my all time favorite, may he rest in peace. You can obviously see the natural television personallity of Andrew, fooling around. But I think Mark really looked great next to him and I really enjoyed watching this. Seeing how much Mark has grown and still is a great and real humble guy over the years is a joy to see. Al lot of people should take notice.
10mins into watching this and I all I took was this was Andrew was trying to show him who’s boss

I've always liked Andrew's videos but he was so obnoxious on this one. Total turn off how everyone was acting! Only thing I would agree with him on is that Mark should take his wife on a date every other time with NO video cameras!!
Definitely won’t be watching Andrew Zimmern… I’ll stick with Mark Wiens. Andrew definitely showed his colors in this episode, and I will not be supporting his ‘ content. Mark is good enough and he’s by far the most successful right now because of his humility and sincerity. Thank you Mark for all that you do.
I have been watching your channel for about six months and I have just came across this episode I used to watch bizarre food too you are a lot like him I feel like you transport me to where you are and it takes a entire film crew to do that for most. I hope you took his advice about ying and date night she seems very nice and she is certainly beautiful you should put her and especially micah on the channel more.
